Ricky Palermo was an avid athlete before his spinal injury. Following his injury Ricky spent time at The Miami Project, a center dedicated to treating those who have sustained spinal chord injures. The Project is also currently working to find a cure to spinal chord injuries.

For the past twenty-three years, Ricky has, with his friends and family, been hosting a golf tournament, comedy nights and sports clinics to raise awareness and money for the Miami Project. So far the Ricky Palermo Foundation has raised over one million dollars for this cause.

Thanks for checking out our newly revised web-page! Please feel free to check out all of our pages on our menu listed on our homepage (events, about, contacts, volunteers, memorials etc.). Each page will have its own information and hopefully everything you'll need to know about us. My goal is to keep everyone updated as to the progression of research going on at The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. plus, you'll find stories, photos, videos and much more, that will show you just how fortunate I have been since starting our foundation 23 years ago. Feel free to send us any feedback  you may have.
